Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D

What works

•   intro video
•   menu (player profile, video and sound config)
•   config input (keyboard, mouse and gamepad)
•   gameplay (only the first mission was tested).

* Required some workarounds and changes to Wine Registry settings. See below.

What does not

The game starts, only after applying some workarounds.

Workarounds

1. Install native dsound to avoid crash when game try to playing intro video:

   winetricks dsound

2. Install NGlide and customized setting (maybe optional). Modify the follow Wine Registry key:

   wine reg.exe add 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC\Rogue Squadron\v1.0' /v 'VDEVICE' /t 'REG_SZ' /d 'Voodoo (Glide)' /f

3. Modify the follow Wine Registry keys:

   wine reg.exe add 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC\Rogue Squadron\v1.0' /v 'Source Dir' /t 'REG_SZ' /d '.\' /f
   wine reg.exe add 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC\Rogue Squadron\v1.0' /v 'Source Path' /t 'REG_SZ' /d '.' /f

4. To make an attached joystick work:

   winetricks win98
   wine reg.exe add 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC\Rogue Squadron\v1.0' /v 'JoystickID' /t 'REG_SZ' /d '1' /f

   Note that this problem is present also on Windows. Thank you to the GOG forum users for this solution.
