Hold Ctrl and press "E" 6 times or just hold down "E" in the main menu until the level editor opens.
For network play, you need to install IPX.
Add ipx to your network card like this: (Your network interface name - eth0 - might be different)
# ipx_interface add -p eth0 802.2 0x12345678
Use ip a to check if network is working.
IPX will be automatically removed after reboot. You can also remove it manually like this:
# ipx_interface del eth0 802.2
