Install works if done from HDD. Gameplay is adequate if slightly slow.
What does not
Install does not work from CD. Best workaround is to copy ISO data to HDD, mount, and install from there. In cutscene video, there are blotches of crimson where there should be blacks. My guess is palette mismatch.
What was not tested
Graphics drivers are fglrx with direct rendering. GPU is ATI Mobility X1600. Testing kernel does not have PATA support (long story).

Hold Ctrl and press "E" 6 times or just hold down "E" in the main menu until the level editor opens.
For network play, you need to install IPX.
Add ipx to your network card like this: (Your network interface name - eth0 - might be different)
# ipx_interface add -p eth0 802.2 0x12345678
Use ip a to check if network is working.
IPX will be automatically removed after reboot. You can also remove it manually like this:
# ipx_interface del eth0 802.2
