Native Linux version
There is a native Linux version of this game, go here for a demo version and more info.
NOCD Patch
­1) Download .exe patch here: Knights And Merchants Linux Patch.exe
Rename to .exe and put in the game folder

2) Install dosbox to run patch

$ sudo apt-get install dosbox
­
3) Insert on dosbox config file (~/.dosbox/dosbox-x.xx.conf) this lines:

mount c (path to your game folder)­
c:
KNIGHT~1.EXE

4) Save and run dosbox on terminal

5) Enter commands in this order

y, enter, y, y, y

6) Close dosbox and play normally
