Installation, Launch of demo manually via "~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Activision/Star Trek Elite Force II Single Player Demo$ wine EF2.exe" without quotes, Game title menu appears, mouse cursor visible and able to move over options which produce sound effects, description of menu options at the bottom of the screen, a starship rotates around in the center of the title menu's screen. Uninstall manually via "~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Activision/Star Trek Elite Force II Single Player Demo/Uninstall$ wine UNWISE.EXE" without quotes followed by a manual removal of the Uninstall subdirectory and the UNWISE.EXE file and a removal of the "base" subdirectory followed by the "Star Trek Elite Force II Single Player Demo" directory and the "Activision" directory.
What does not
Shortcut automatically placed on desktop is incorrect, Game title menu doesn't allow for any selection from its options so I could not start the game or configure it or even exit (had to alt-tab out and ctrl-c to quit the task via the X terminal where I started it manually). Gameplay (no way to bypass the menu or select Start Game)
What wasn't tested: Gameplay (clicking on Start Game has no effect), Configuration Options (clicking on Options has no effect)
What was not tested
Quitting the game via Alt-Tab and Ctrl-C in an X Terminal brought me back to a 640x480 resolution screen on my desktop, yuck.
