America's Army is one of the five most popular PC action games played online.
It provides players with the most authentic military experience available, from exploring the development of Soldiers in individual and collective training to their deployment in simulated missions in the War on Terror.
America's Army: Special Forces is the follow-up to America's Army: Operations, which was released on July 4, 2002.

What works
The install script is able to extract cab files from the install file (armyops260_win.exe) and appears to place them in the correct location (~/.wine/drive_c/windows/temp/RarSFX0/)
What does not
When it comes time for the installer to start extracting data from cab files, it fails with the following warning/error messages:
fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action L"ValidateProductID"
fixme:msi:msi_unimplemented_action_stub MigrateFeatureStates -> 1 ignored L"Upgrade" table values
fixme:msi:msi_dialog_handle_event Attribute L"Progress" not being set
fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action L"RemoveExistingProducts"
fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action L"UnpublishFeatures"
fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action L"RemoveRegistryValues"
fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action L"RemoveShortcuts"
fixme:msi:msi_unimplemented_action_stub MoveFiles -> 1 ignored L"MoveFile" table values
err:msi:MsiSourceListAddSourceExW unknown media type: 00000004
err:cabinet:FDICopy PFDI_OPEN returned zero for C:\windows\temp\RarSFX0\accessor.cab.
err:msi:extract_cabinet_file FDICopy failed
err:msi:ACTION_InstallFiles Unable to ready media
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallFinalize" returned 1627
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"ExecuteAction" returned 1627
I'm assuming that the problem has something to do with accessor.cab, as I couldn't find this file, even if I looked for it immediately before I get the error message.
Workarounds
What was not tested
I tried most of the install options (typical, custom, full), but did not try every combination of possibilities under custom.
