Copy protection (No CD crack required)
When first launched, main menu and all sub menus appear blank, but main menu items can be seen once the mouse pointer hovers over them. Starting a new game then canceling out of the character creation screen fixes the blank menus and allows you to access the configuration and load menus.

If you get the following error and performance issues:
fixme:d3d_surface:fb_copy_to_texture_direct Doing a pixel by pixel copy from the framebuffer to a texture, expect major performance issuesAdding the following Registry key should help:
HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D: OffscreenRenderingMode = "fbo"
Also if you have a black menu when the game starts, or graphic errors, you can set the following Registry Key:
HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D: UseGLSL = "disabled"
(this also increases the performance strongly)
