Intro videos, cutscenes, PC generation, talking to NPCs, moving around, using skills and talents, fighting. Everything is working fine.
What does not
The main menu doesn't work. To run it properly you have to start a new game, make a character (the fast and dirty way), then interrupt the intro-cutscene and return to main menu... after doing so it works.
Map changes sometimes cause crashes to desktop.
There is an odd bug: The keyboard does not respond if you haven't emulated a virtual desktop. If virtual desktop is ticked in winecfg, everything works fine.
What was not tested
Playing longer than two hours...
I installed an unofficial patch which is called True_VTMB_Patch_504AT_FINAL. This patch seems to fix bugs that are not repaired by the official one (v1.2). After installing this patch to the German version (v1.2), I encountered a funny mix of German and English or - as we Germans say - "Denglish".

If you get the following error and performance issues:
fixme:d3d_surface:fb_copy_to_texture_direct Doing a pixel by pixel copy from the framebuffer to a texture, expect major performance issues
Adding the following Registry key should help:
HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D: OffscreenRenderingMode = "fbo"
Also if you have a black menu when the game starts, or graphic errors, you can set the following Registry Key:HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D: UseGLSL = "disabled"
(this also increases the performance strongly)
(see http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys for further information)
To force antialiasing in the game, run this in a terminal:
wine /path/to/your/Vampire.exe -game Unofficial_Patch
