Graphical Install Process, Installation, Shortcut placement on KDE 3.5.2 Desktop, Freeform game (a mode of gameplay, option given within game's main menu), audio sounds, mouse movement, selection and function of in-game toolbar on the left hand side of the screen, placing items, picking up employees and animals, selecting placed items, employees, and and animals and using windows that pop-up with information about them. Removing areas of a lion exhibit and allowing the lions to escape
What does not
While the Freeform game mode I tried worked, I did notice some errors in the graphics during gameplay as follows: selecting the bulldozer icon in-game in the menu at left during gameplay and selecting items to clear to regain money does work but often will leave an ugly grid on the screen and/or red marks over items selected to bulldoze and often many of these areas don't return to their normal looking appearance. In addition, very often when a land texture is placed in an animal's exhibit, the texture doesn't show properly and instead shows up as a pitch black hole.
comments: manually removed files created in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/temp, Uninstalling via "wine uninstaller" (without quotes) which gives the following error messages: "Cannot delete the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon Demo\UNINSTAL.EXE" and "Cannot delete the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon Demo\SETUPENU.DLL" and "Unable to successfully uninstall Zoo Tycoon Demo", but when I checked the ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files directory following the uninstall attempt, the \Microsoft Games\ directory and subdirectories with files had been removed, however the program name is still listed in the Wine uninstall menu when invoked. I manually removed the shortcut icon from desktop.
What was not tested
Options from in-game main menu other than Freeform game, gameplay past ten minutes.
