What works

Version: 1.0

The loading screen.(with nocd-patch applied)

What does not

Everything else. It doesn't get past the initial loading screen.

At first it didn't start at all. The game was missing 2 dll files. Once I had copied them to the right place it gave me a bunch of fixme's in the terminal:

fixme:dinput:joydev_have found a joystick at /dev/input/event3!
fixme:win:WIN_CreateWindowEx Parent is HWND_MESSAGE
fixme:d3d_caps:IWineD3DImpl_GetAdapterMonitor (0x403c9de0)->(Adptr:0)
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_GetDeviceCaps Caps support for directx9 is nonexistent at the moment!
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_GetAvailableTextureMem (0x403ca1b0) : stub, emulating 64MB for now, returning 64MB

losts of those:

fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_SetRenderState (0x403ca1b0)->(WINED3DRS_MULTISAMPLEMASK,-1) not handled yet

fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_GetDeviceCaps Caps support for directx9 is nonexistent at the moment!

losts of those:

fixme:d3d:D3DFmtGetBpp Unhandled fmt(111,WINED3DFMT_R16F)

fixme:d3d_shader:generate_base_shader Can't handle opcode cnd in hwShader
wine: Unhandled exception 0x80000003 at address 0x4885b3 (thread 0030), starting debugger...

HowTo / Notes

dll overide

game require d3dx9_27.dll and d3dx9_36.dll from native environment. can be automatically installed via winetricks:

winetricks d3dx9

While submitting test data, please, specify your OpenGL info. You can get it with

glxinfo | grep renderer -A1

command. output would be something similar to:

OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R300 (RV515 718A) 20090101  TCL DRI2
OpenGL version string: 1.4 Mesa 7.6-devel

note that version less that 2.0 is not quite enough to play any game

WARNING ATI-cards users

Game may fail to load any level beyond first one due to freaking buggy proprietary driver while working perfectly OK on Nvidia cards.

Test results confirm that so far, so, while adding new test data, please, include your OpenGL specifications.

It is mandatory.

PS: try not to decrease "rating" because of this, since it is, probably, not wine issue at all.
