What works

The actual installation went very smoothly.

What does not

When I go to start the program, I get the typical "Error message 7.1.29 license error." and "Software license failed to initialise." error messages that come as a result of problems with C-Dilla.

I think that I was supposed to get a window during the installation displaying a series of options for Network License Administrators as well, as seen here:

but I did not.

What was not tested

The actual running of the program.

Hardware tested

  • GPU:
  • Driver:

Additional Comments

I think that if were able to run Max5's License Configuration Switcher program it would go a very long way in resolving this issue.

I've installed 3ds Max 5 (without any C-Dilla errors) and at startup it says "A licence error has occurred. Please" blah blah, restart your system. Nothing helps. Does anyone know what to do?
Change in install steps...

A small change... more of an edit:

In step 2, the list of items to install in Winetricks should have an "icodecs" not a "Tcodecs"...
