What works

Signing on, buddy list retrieval (you need IE installed in the same wine directory = /.wine/drive_c/) buddy status, set your own status, message buddy... most things actually. I had a conversation with a buddy and that seemed fine... apart from the fact I couldnt see what she was saying or what I'd typed myself.

What does not

All text is blacked out like it had been selected and wasnt showing through the selection. Strange...

I got it to work by installing ies4linux then moving /.ies4linux/drive_c/ to /.wine/ as it had set up IE6, and all the dlls and things MYspace IM seemed to need (Myspace IM is heavily interwoven wit h IE... dll calls and API calls all over the place. I'm giving this app bronze rating as if the text was sorted out it would work perfectly for it's intended use. .
