It appears to work flawlessly. However I used all the default settings, except changed the option from single pass to dual pass and selected 700MB as the final size.
This created a 568MByte Xvid movie from a DVD, quality is excellent. The final size was not 700MB but 568MB. Not really a problem as the quality was excellent.
What does not
I asked for 700MB and got 568MB however quality was good. I wonder if that was because I asked it to do a dual pass rather than a single. Also this may be a feature when running under windows as well ( I don't know )
What was not tested
Splitting the final avi into two avi's
I'm running with a few extra DLL's in system, so I don't know whether this runs, without these DLL's, like MFC42.DLL, however I've assumed it doesn't need this DLL's hence the platinum rating.
