What works
Singleplayer works without any issues.
Deckbuilder and export of deck works too.
Options menu works, but some options need to be toggled multiple times, this error exists since the original release of the game.
What does not
Start does not work every time.
I remember faintly, that the game has problems to start on Windows, because of the used copy protection Securom.
Same problem exists on Linux, but there is an easy and inconvenient workaround.
Workarounds
As far as I learned it, Securom uses at least the feature of overburn and "multi filesystem".
The moment the game executable is started, the disc get's remounted from Securom, so that Securom
can do its magic tricks.
To fulfill the requirements for Securom configuration this game uses, you have to disable any file indexer, like balooctl,
or else you will get the error "Can't authenticate disk in time" and it's variations.
It seems that this "multi filesystem" approach triggers balooctl every single time and slows down the access to the disk
enough to reach the timeout of Securom.
After that you have to play "guess", before the game starts.
When disk get's inserted into the disc drive, it gets an ID in /dev/disk/by-diskseq.
Sometimes the initial ID is okay, the disk can be mounted and the game starts.
Sometimes it needs to be an odd or higher number, if the game refuses to start.
My steps for that are:
1) mount the disk
2) start the game
3) if the game does not start, eject the disk
4) try to start again
5) if the game does not start, unplug the disk drive and connect it again, now in /dev/disk/by-diskseq the disc should have an odd number
6) start again at 3) after the game finally starts
On some days one cycle of the steps is enough, on other days I had to repeat the cycle 5 times.
