runs better launching like this ~$ nice -20 wine prey.exe seems to fix sound stutter and frame rates & loading times. Flawless performance so far on over 15 machines i know of. "now i gotta rant a bit" Disappointed to see on 3drealms site forums after installation that they wont offer a linux client but hey have to have a stable server so we'll port that for you linux guys ok.... Hmm they manage to port it for BSD ie the XBoX 360 a linux server but not spend the extra few minutes to compile for linux clients hmm smells kinda skunky "BILL" get out of the room..... Not ok i refuse to run a linux server for any game that does not have a linux client anymore everyone in our group has removed all dedicated servers that do not have linux clients "our own boycott" of sorts were a small group but growing and spreading our Gospel "linux clients everywhere" But me and friends wont buy it without a dedicated linux client. They hurry up and hire Ryan, looks like he's pretty busy..... George. Hmm i used to be a duke3d fan and 3drealms in general but thats all gone now........The mighty boot goes into the closet never to stomp alien brains again......
