What works

Installing with default options (flawless). In Word I entered some text and printed it. For printing I needed to fix the Canon driver for my Pixma iP1600/2200 ( http://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/list_message/28264383#28264383 includes link to fixed driver). I clicked through the menus a bit and didn't find anything strange. Same story for Excel. Creating a little Powerpoint presentation and showing it full-screen works as expected.

What does not

In Excel, it occured to me once or twice that a few seconds after printing, the application disappears completely. When I tried to reproduce it with wine running from terminal so I could see what went wrong, it wasn't reproduceable anymore. The print itself was fine though. I still don't know what could have happened. Platinum rating because I can't reproduce it.

Beginning with Wine 1.3.9, mfc42 is needed for the installer to complete. You can install it with winetricks.

Guidelines for Submitting Test Reports

Specify exactly which edition of Office 2000 you tested (Standard, Pro, etc.) This is crucial--bugs that affect one edition may not affect others.
Specify exactly what type of install you tested (Typical, Custom, Minimal, etc.)
Limit your report to the installer only. Reports on the performance of individual apps should be filed under their respective AppDB entries. Problems with running any of the apps should only be mentioned if it is clear that it is due to a problem with the installer.
If you used any overrides during the install, please list them and explain exactly what problem each override was needed to solve.
