Installation works fine.
The depth of X server must be set to 16 bits before launching the app. If not, the following message will appear :
fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 16
and the game will be in black&white, and slower.
The animation of the beginning play, but that's all. I didn't manage to reach the menu or play the game.
What does not
The transition from the introduction video to the menu.
There's a lot of dsound errors :
fixme:dsound:DSOUND_MixOne problem with underrun detection (mixlen=35328 < primary_done=49392)
and logging it make the game a little bit slower. I tried to use native dsound.dll, but then I got the following message :
"Cannot initialize FMOD. Sound will be turned off".
During the animation, if I press Echap to skip it an go to the menu, I get a ddraw error :
fixme:ddraw:DIB_DirectDrawSurface_Blt Can't handle DDBLT_WAIT flag right now.
the picture freeze, as if screen wasn't updated, but sound continues, with new errors :
err:dsound:DSOUND_MixOne underrun on sound buffer 0x7fd4be40
Then I have to kill the game.
What was not tested
The game itself as I didn't even reach the menu.

To get Blip & Blop run, the default wine configuration is just fine. The only thing to do is to change the color depth of X server to 16 bits. To do so, you can just edit the X configuration file (e.g. /etc/X11/xorg.conf), search for the line containing DefaultDepth and change it to look like this :
Then restart the X server (logout or just press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, and login), launch Blip & Blop with wine and enjoy !
