What works
Running my 2D game engine and map editor.
Sound works with occasional echo.
Game runs nearly at full speed.
What does not
1) Publishing .dcr file results in Alert Box saying "Problem writing file 'c:\windows\pr...in_3_tb_1_00': -50"
2) After a default install, there is a bug where floating points are not converted properly to strings, which means they cannot be converted back to floats by using value(). To avoid this: At the command line type:
winecfg
The Wine Configuration program will start.
In the 'Applications' tab, click on "Add Application"
Browse to where Director is installed and click on Director.exe
This allows you to configure Director seperately from other apps.
In the 'Applications' tab, select 'Director.exe' and click on the 'Libraries' tab.
Select 'mscvrt' from the drop down menu underneath the text 'New override for library'
Click 'Add'
Click 'Ok'
Wine will now use the mscvrt.dll that comes with Director rather than the default one supplied with Wine. This eliminates the above issue.

Additional Comments
I had to rate as 'Bronze' because without the ability to publish .dcr files (shockwave movies) the program cannot fulfil its ultimate purpose. However, it seems fine for day to day development.
