What works

Installing, patching to 1.08, everything.

What does not

Sound after installation. You have to install the sound codec manually from you installation folder, e.g.:

.wine/dosdevices/c:/Programme/Sierra/FEAR/WMFADist.exe

Doing this also seems to stops you from getting out into the rubbish bin in the very first part of the game.

Additional Comments

With the following specs: Duo Core 2 2.4GHz DDR2 4GB GeForce 9800 GTX+ (binary driver 195.30) (A NoCD crack was used). On a clean wine prefix, installed corefonts with winetrix. It plays well at 1440x900 on the above spec system.
