Sound doesn't seem to work for some reason.
The express install does not reckonize the 2nd cd when inserted. Use the selective install. Game runs very slow starting out, creating menus and for the menus to react.
What was not tested
Multiplayer was not tried
had to play around with the mouse buttons to get the main menu to react to a mouse press. But in the game play mouse reacts normal.

2015-07-07 Admin note: the following tips were extracted from user comments made over a year ago and may not be relevant to current Wine.
For those having problems with the cd key and pidgen.dll, try using winetricks to install mfc42. It should at least get the install to start.
I also had to install MSXML3 to get it working.
