I couldn't get this to install from the cd's at all. I ended up copying all the files over to a temporary folder and installing from there, which worked perfectly once I had permissions set up correctly. Used winetricks to install mfc42, msxml4 and wmp10. The installer won't get past the cd key entry without mfc42.dll, the game won't be able to load the movies without wmvcore (provided by wmp10), and without msxml4 no levels will load in campaign mode.

2015-07-07 Admin note: the following tips were extracted from user comments made over a year ago and may not be relevant to current Wine.
For those having problems with the cd key and pidgen.dll, try using winetricks to install mfc42. It should at least get the install to start.
