You must copy the file libfontconfig.so.1.4.4 from http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/libs/libfontconfig1 (opens with archive manager) to usr/lib32 (in 64 bit Ubuntu) backing up the old file as necessary. Once this is done Stars works Flawlessly.
