What works
If alternate Wipeout-XL/2097 is used (Version without videofiles, they're ripped off programmcode too), the game will run very fine. Audio and video shows like it should. Gameplay is too fast like on Windows, but that's a game issue since developers did not limit the framerate right. There are game versions which altered the programmcode with better framerate control (not perfect, still a little too fast sometimes in-game).
What does not
In-game video sequences (MPEG-1) do not load. As soon as the program try to load the video-sequence, the programm will abort.
Use alternate Version like described in "What works" sections.
Power-VR version of this game is not working.
