What works
The game runs without visible flaw under wine 0.9.58 with an ATI Radeon X1650 and fglrx drivers.
What does not
Wine produces a storm of "fixme:d3d_draw:drawPrimitive Using software emulation because manual fog coordinates are provided" messages which slows the game down.
This is easily avoided by running the game with WINEDEBUG=-all as an environment variable.
