Everything tested works: fonts, importing backgrounds, cutting and pasting, it's all good.
What does not
If you open a Help window there is no way to close it except for exiting Xara!
Since Xara is so easy to use, I don't think we need to hold it against it.
What was not tested
Not tried printing or exporting animation, but can see no reason for difficulties.
Had to download Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 and install to Wine before Xara would install. No issues in installing MDAC. Also had to set Wine to tell Xara 3D 6 that it was running under XP, got unexpected error under default settings. Only the Demo version was tested, but this is just unlock code away from being the full version so I think we can say this all holds for the real deal.
