The most important thing to know:
After starting DC++ go to File >> Settings..., select 'Advanced' in the left side of the dialog box and uncheck the 'Show progress bars for transfers' option. Otherwise, the program will crash whenever you start downloading a file.
Connecting to hubs, downloading files.
What does not
Progress bars that appear when downloading files crash the application. Tooltips that appear when the user places the mouse over a button do not work as intended.
What was not tested
Connecting to hubs and downloading files using passive mode, or behind a firewall. However, it is very likely to work.
I rate this version as Gold because by just using the "Show progress bars" above, it works just as it was intended. Tested on Ubuntu, Kubuntu and Xubuntu 6.06
