What works
Installs fine. The game plays fine, no graphical problems whatsover. Choosing to play with keyboard works fine. Sound effects work. Must use the ALSA driver for any sound output.
What does not
Choosing to play with mouse does not work, it will freeze the game. Choosing joystick in the game config and hitting okay also freezes the game. Also, if you choose the remap buttons button and try to map joystick buttons, it will say "joystick not found." Although sound effects work, there is no music. Using anything besides ALSA will not work, I have tested OSS, JACK, and NAS. Choosing the 2x windows mode makes the game play slow. Multiplayer does not work, ie, the create game and join game menu options both freeze the game.

Though I have played through a lot of levels, I have not tested every single one, though by the looks of it there should be absolutely no problem.

Even though my I chose KANOTIX 2005-04 as my distro, I have dist-upgraded it to the latest debian/unstable.
