Everything works as i can see. Except sometimes Video sequence does not work.
What does not
Video sequence is not shown sometimes randomly.
Probably need safe mode.
What was not tested
Ensemble Studios Online Connection (Multiplayer) does not work by default in gold version.
LAN not tested, going to check that.
The installation does visibly need pidgen.dll and crashes without a notice if not having mfc42.dll. The client "crashes" instead of shutting down when exiting the game. But that is unneccessary.

As a workaround, look in the gfxconfig and gfxconfig2 folders and replace the contents of the i845.gfx files with the context of the geforce3.gfx files. This should work with both nvidia and amd gpus.
After that, you should be able to use higher resolutions are 32bpp, and the fog of war issue and water glitch should be fixed.
