What works
Insallation and gameplay
What does not
I am using a laptop with an integrated graphics card (Intel) as well as a dedicated one (Nvidia)
When using Nvidia everything works fine but the performance is quite low when there are more than a few units on the map
When using Intel:
Sometimes the water is not rendered correctly: It's a solid blue color and the shores are all blocky (like in Minecraft)
Fog of war is not rendered correctly. It's all made out of big square chunks that are completely visible once a bit of them is discovered. This can be considered a cheat as I can see some terrain that I normally wouldn't, even tho no entities (buildings, units, trees) are shown in those ares, just the terrain.
In the options menu I can only see 3 resolutions (all non-widescreen) that are only 16bit

The following was extracted from a user comment made on November 2, 2016:
As a workaround, look in the gfxconfig and gfxconfig2 folders and replace the contents of the i845.gfx files with the context of the geforce3.gfx files. This should work with both nvidia and amd gpus.
After that, you should be able to use higher resolutions are 32bpp, and the fog of war issue and water glitch should be fixed.
