What works

Gameplay, menus, game settings, movies, sound with OSS

What does not

dx8 and dx9 modes works but the game is crashing quite often with them. So I used -dxlevel 70 to run SIN. Maybe graphics is not so nice with it but it's much more stable. I had disabled GLSL in registry - it was making the already unstable dx9/dx8 mode even more unstable. dx6 seems to work too but not as good as dx7 Movies on startup and are working but they are very slow. So I used the -novid option. If the game resolution differs from desktop resolution the game is drawing incorrectly (For this I had used -width 1280 -height 1024 options). Game is always crashing on exit. But that's not really a big problem

What was not tested

Installation. I haven't complete the whole game on Solaris...yet There's a problem while compiling recent wine versions on Solaris. I used the following advice and everything is working great http://www.alekz.net/archives/12

Additional Comments

Performance on linux is a little better (maybe that's because Solaris is using more ram). Games is tested on Solaris Express Developer Edition 1/08
