Note that plain Word Viewer 2003 is no longer available from Microsoft. The current download link installs the installs the 2007 version, which is really the 2003 version with SP1 applied. Â You can tell which version you have by the name of the downloaded file:

Installing and viewing .doc and .docx documents.
What does not
After installing it will look for updates. This may not work since it crashes at 100%
There are also some pink graphical glitches at a few places on the UI. Nothing serious.
