What does not
CFW cannot be played in full screen mode because the game gives a black screen, a workaround is to use a wine's virtual desktop and running the game in a window.
Indeo Codec is needed to play sound and can be downloaded from: http://www.moddb.com/mods/gametypes/downloads/conquest-frontier-wars-audio-codec
Mouse Input: It's impossible to play because units and platforms cannot be selected.
What was not tested
Installer: I have copied the installed CFW's directory into wine's C: drive
Because mouse input doesn't work, it's impossible to test extended gameplay.

Conquest can not run on this graphic card
Edit conquest.ini and replace 'IRenderPipeline = RendSft' with 'IRenderPipeline = Rend0'.
Game crashes trying to play intro
launch game with /skipmovies, i.e ; 'wine conquest.exe /skipmovies'
In game options, uncheck "enable directinput"
