Graphics are rendered without error, and very quickly indeed.
Single player, played for a while, then ran through each level no problems. Installation and use of various mods. Loading and saving games. In-game and front-end GUIs. Usual rebinding of keys and so on.
HoloMatch(Multiplayer). Server browser (exhaustively clicked through, is fine). Autodownload of maps. Online play. LAN play. Hosting a game, including bots.
NB: The fair smattering of the console commands I remember for this game worked 'as expected' as well.
What does not
I searched hard and could find no aspect of this program that didn't work normally and perform as well as on windows.
What was not tested
Time constraints stopped me testing as many mods as I'd have liked.
The whole game seems completely indistinguishable from running it on windows, and it can be run ludicrously quickly through wine. I'd like to see benchmarks because I suspect it may actually be quicker in like-for-like tests - although I'm using about 5 times less ram before loading it on gnu/linux. For these reasons I'm rating it as Platinum.

Well, nothing much to it. Just dump in the CD, do "wine setup.exe" and it installs beautifully without a hitch. after that one may want to use the no-cd patch and then just execute the stvoy.exe and stvoyhm.exe files for single and multi player respectively. ( the no-cd files are not required, the game works perfectly from CD or by a mounted iso )
