It appears to nearly work under wine 0.9.15 and 0.9.16. It can inport waypoints, you can view waypoints, edit them and in general work with them the way you can when running GSAK in windows. However, after 0.9.16, GSAK started to crash under wine.
It is necessary to set up the Serial port in the registry for GSAK to see the serial ports. It is also necessary to modify some things so that wcmd.exe can be seen as "cmd.exe" (or just substitute cmd.exe from win2k works perfectly). There are some issues with wcmd.exe that need looking into.
What does not
USB serial interface to some GPS units does not work. Some lockups occur as yet when "clicking through" waypoints. Some of the lockups can be worked around. Others cannot. So there is plenty of "work to do" to make this application a gold application.
Also, seems to be some issue when running with "wcmd.exe" vs. "cmd.exe" from win2k. Needs looking into.
What was not tested
Haven't had a chance to test macros under GSAK yet.
It is probably a bronze application for now as there are some issues even though in general it _works_... Plus, there is a small amount of configuration that does not happen automagically.
