What works

Almost everything works normally. Examples: USB controller configuration, emulator settings, plugin settings, hi-resolution texture packs, texture caching, games, etc.

What does not

Returning to windowed mode from "full screen" (it's not true full screen), certain video plugins have issues with Direct3D and either have quirks or result in a crash, configuring buttons with the keyboard, loading a game and then choosing the "End Emulation" option, followed by attempting to load a game again (the application will fail to set the video mode properly and/or results in a crash).

Additional Comments

For best results, use the "Glide Napalm Public Release 1.22" video plugin, a USB controller, and always play in windowed mode. When quitting a game, press F12 (or choose "End Emulation" from the menu), and restart the application before attempting to run a game again. In the Glide configuration window, choose "Wrapper settings" and turn on frame buffer objects. This will allow proper display of certain video effects that some games use.

HowTo / Notes

READ IF: You have installed Project64 on your Windows partition.
When you load up Project64 for the first time using Wine, if it's installed in your Windows partition, it won't be able to load ROMs, because it's looking for a different directory. You'll need to point the program to the ROM directory in your Windows partition (generally /media/disk/Program Files/Project 64 v1.6) change "disk" to whatever your primary hard drive is named in your Linux distro.
