Netscape Plugin works fine from website in Firefox (184.108.40.206 tested), did a quick test with YouTube and videos played fine. You can download the installer normally and it installs without issues or special configuration.
Installation instructions for Adobe Flash Player ActiveX control:
Install the Flash ActiveX control on a real copy of Windows first. You can do this by visiting
http://tinyurl.com/32kxn9 in Internet Explorer.
You MUST use Internet Explorer to visit the site. Visiting in another browser will direct you to the Netscape plugin. You cannot download the plugin standalone.
In that folder on your WINE installation, run:
$ regsvr32 Flash9e.ocx
Successfully registered DLL Flash9e.ocx should appear after (possibly) some debugging output.
At present, you cannot use the
FlashUtil9e.exe program to install or update Flash Player, as checksum verification will fail because CryptVerifyMessageSignature is not implemented in WINE (0.9.55):
fixme:crypt:CryptVerifyMessageSignature stub: 0x33f854, 0, 0x440020, 1524754, (nil), 0x33f880, (nil)
