I went to the directory of the game in the terminal window and typed: WINEDEBUG='-all' nice -19 wine RealClientApp.exe /ftp 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 It took a few tries to get it to work (the prior times I had logftp error). I also recommend using winetricks to download msvc2005, corefonts, and vcrun6, and a few more packages to get as far as I got.
