Additional Comments
Sometimes SG installs poorly (rarely). In this case, one needs to remove (or backup) their .wine, make a new .wine, and install SG again. The game performs well in Managed mode, but switches resolution. I advise Managed mode, as Desktop mode opens the user up to DX-Mouse boundary freaks (which are not fatal, but annoying).

Sound on SG may be choppy, or crash WINE altogether!
Choppy sound: use winecfg to change Audio "Hardware Acceleration" to "Emulate"
Crash:
If you are getting this strange error:
ELF 7efc4000-7efeb000 Deferred libm.so.6It means you should, using winecfg, uncheck (if checked) the ALSA driver and check the OSS driver, or change the Audio "Hardware Acceleration" to "Emulate"
.
Shattered Galaxy updates rarely, but the patcher mechanism can and often will trash or jam your installation.
Use with care.
BUG : 2 buttons Logitech mouse no longer working after updating to wine version : 1.1.20.
The mouse work in the login screen but froze after that. The mouse works as usual on my computer.
in /etc/X11/xorg.conf :
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "auto"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
# generated from default
EndSection
Im running in low-resolution mode because my graphics card crashed.
But, before updating wine , it worked well
wine terminal output :
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":1.0".
