Installation. After installation, I had to copy Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest, msvcm80.dll, msvcp80.dll, msvcr80.dll into the Quicken directory and the System32 directory. You can find these files by following http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6591#c9 the link to a zip is there.
After installation and adding the appropriate DLL's, I no longer recieve the C++ error, however, the screan repaints EXTREMELY slow and when calling the program from a Konsole session, there are 2 Quicken specific DLL's that throw up errors.
I WAS able to restore a backup file from a fully functioning M$ system and see all my Quicken data!!! Yea
What does not
1) Quicken 2007 Home & Business instructs me to have IE5.5 or later installed in order to register the product. I will try to install IE 5.5 and see if that error goes away.
2) Screen refresh is VERY BOGGY
What was not tested
1) Registration, because the dependancy on IE 5.5 was not met.
2) printing and reporting, because the interface performance was way too slow (probably due to the Quicken specific DLL errors???)
Thank you Jeremy White for setting me straight on how to use Bugzilla and how the Open Source culture is. I appreciate your patience and guidance.
