Vertical Synchronization

if you experience slowdown in moving speed of your character, try to disable VSync in your X drivers

if your picture is choppy some times, try to toggle it on.

(way to do so is different for all drivers)

The movement of the main character is axtremely slow in comparison with windows installation. Timed missions are unplayable. Tried to turn off vsync. No iprovement. Ubuntu linux 9.04, wine 1.1.25

Try disabling strict draw ordering. Worked like a charm for me.
