Most features of the client, including playing online, single player, menus, sound etc. Hardware mouse support is also working, when 'Allow DirectX apps to stop the mouse from leaving their Window' is enabled.
What does not
Sound when snd_3d=false, and the ALSA sound system is used. There is also a directdraw flicker bug, as highlighted in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12194, that causes flickering black lines to be rendered instead of hinting the screen when an item is picked up or damage is taken.
What was not tested
Every aspect of the client was tested fully.
With the exception fo the DDraw bug, the ZDaemon client runs perfectly under Wine and performance is on par with Windows (when an Intel Graphics Chipset is used). The DDraw bug has been fixed in Git, and should be included with the next release candidate of Wine. snd_3d=true is recommended, even if using OSS, to let the sound be handled externally and not emulated in the games sound engine, as there is a possibility of stuttering and a high latency. snd_3d also provides better quality sound depending on your Wine's Directsound settings, which should be similar to the defaults at the present time for optimum performance.
