The installer works perfectly smoothly. The hackery needed with the previous game's installer isn't necessary with this one. Just ensure that the locale Wine is run under matches the system character set (i.e. ja_JP.utf8 on Fedora or any other fully internationalized, UTF8-based distribution) and the installer will find all its files without any problems.
What does not
The game itself fails to start, with a similar error message to the first game (original message is in Japanese; translation by me):
Some kind of error occurred while accessing the base table. The cause could be a damaged file or a shortage of memory.
