Set LANG to ja_JP.UTF-8 or ja_JP.EUC-JP before starting the application in order to display text correctly and save files with correct file names. There is a display issue where some texts are drawn twice, once in Japanese and once using the System font (i.e. blocks). This is most easily seen in the node list (add nodes first). Updating in lists lags behind at times, and causes display artifacts. The application GUI is also quite slow.
