Splash Screen appears followed quickly by two dialogue boxes...

(Following [OK] and after a period of time the SDM2 login screen appears. Currently this will not accept new logins and there are no existing logins...)

If you [Cancel] this login dialogue then the full SDM2 program is briefly painted then closed down.
