To install I needed to copy mfc42.dll and msvcp60.dll from Windows XP to the system32 directory. Then the installation went OK. When re-launched for some reason it started minimised. This I only found out by having it in a virtual desktop. By clicking on the icon it opens up fine. I have used the file search, downloaded, tagged for download and unrared through News Rover and all seems stable.
What does not
I have noticed that if it is managed by the window manager and you switch back after viewing another application it fails to redraw I needed to kill News Rover. At the moment this seems to be the only drawback.
What was not tested
I have not tested the autoscan because I never use it however I should imagine that it would be fine.
Great Program to use because of the search capabilities!
