What works

Installation works just fine. "Config.exe" launches, but on clicking "Setup" (apply) nothing happens and the changes I've made are gone on the next launch. I'm not quite sure if this is normal or not.

What does not

Starting the game puts out: "fixme:spoolsv:serv_main (0 (nil)) err:advapi:service_get_status service protocol error - failed to read pipe r = 0 count = 0!"

Additional Comments

Used 2 different "cracked updates" (1.0 -> 1.2) to get rid of Starforce-protection. Using the original update results the same.
