What works
Install works well. At the end you should issue a wineboot command from the command prompt to finish up install. Odd icons and shortcuts will remain on your desktop. You can dump them or use them as launch icons if you know what you're doing. All accounts, lists, reconcile, reports work as expected.
I've been using Quicken 2004 Premier under Wine w/Ubuntu for over a year now and am very happy with it. The fact that this is the only Windows program I still use and not having to have it running on a Windows partition or a VM such as VirtualBox or VMware is very cool.
What does not
Anything Internet related ... updates and the like.
To use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+F [Find] you must first launch it through the menus ... Edit | Find & Replace | Find (Ctrl+F) ... upon every Quicken start - afterwards the keyboard shortcut works as expected.
Workarounds
What was not tested
A lot of the online stuff ... since I don't use them anyway ... it doesn't really matter for me.
Hardware tested
