Diamond Mind Baseball (DMB) version 9 is as of late 2006 the current edition of the statistics-based baseball simulation game. It was released in Fall of 2004. DMB 9 has a GUI and an image of a baseball field that games are played on, but is ultimately a text-based game focusing on batter-pitcher matchups and in-game strategic decisions.
DMB 9 contains many additional features, but has not significantly changed in look and feel and gameplay from v.8.

What works
App starts up.
I can select teams, create a lineup and play a game. Play by play now shows correctly (prior versions did not work). I can select reports and display results on screen. All screens used for organization display correctly. Imported version 7 season and version 9 season. Both imported correctly.
Add reference to existing database. Remove reference to existing database. Both worked fine.

I have not tested everything so was hesitant to say platinum, but everything I tried worked so far and this is a basic wine install, no Windows DLLs (unless another Windows app installed it) were copied from a Windows install. The only thing I did was install core true type fonts and changed the font in winecfg to make the screen look a little nicer.
