What works
Got it to install successfully with full NativeODBC support (including specifying the database and login info) with IEs4Linux. Statistic relays work as expected and connecting encoders while the stream was already in use returned the expected 200 error.

Could not get sound to work (yet) for mic or tracks with Direct Sound on ALSA or OSS

I also tried upgrading to SAM3 but had fatal errors during the upgrade install so I don't know if I can fix some of my issues by using SAM3. Tested with version 2.8.3
