What works

1) Installs ok
2) Application loads and displays maps
3) Display & movement of maps is fast enough to be useable
4) Transfer to/from GPS works both on serial port and using a USB serial adapter

What does not

1) Printing & print preview

2) Menu bars flicker as mouse cursor is moved
